I don’t care whether you are a fan of Lea Michele as a person or not, but there is no denying the fact that she has an amazing voice. I must admit, though, I don’t love the tempo…it is a bit too fast for my liking. And the band isn’t really with her in some parts and she changed some of the words… But I like how she doesn’t do the ending the way Idina did it because everyone copies that. I spend a good amount of time watching all the different versions of this song, and she was one of maybe two people that didn’t go up the octave. Brava!

Then, Stuart Williams (the local wildlife ‘expert’) suggests that perhaps the lions mistook the 12 year old girl’s cries for a lion cub. Which seems awfully silly, considering that lions are perfectly capable of telling apart the gazelles they eat from their own cubs, aren’t they?
